Gridwork with Eleanor Mercer (BHSII) at Jodhpurs Riding Centre, Blind Lane, Tockwith, York, YO26 7QJ. Novice group at 10am (jumping 23 to 26) more experienced group (jumping 26+) at 11am. Dressage training with Cathy Burrell at the club field (all-weather arena). Cathy is an International dressage rider, and has competed at all levels including Grand Prix. Cathy is a registered BHSII and also UKCC Level 3. Lessons are 45 minutes long take place in the all-weather arena at the club field. Shared lessons (in pairs) are £19 per rider + £1 arena charge, private lessons are £37.50 + £1. Please send form and payment to secure your place. Cross country training with Ian Brown BHSII at Crosper Farm, Spofforth near Wetherby. These sessions are for 1.5hrs and are in groups of 5 riders. Sessions at 10am and 11:30. Cost is £27 per rider and includes cost of hiring the xc course. These lessons open to all club members but those hoping to be in the hunter trial or show cross teams should try and attend. The cross country fences at this venue are 80cm and above, so please make sure you are happy to jump solid fences of that height before you apply. These sessions are for 1 hour and are in groups of 4 riders. Sessions are at 10am, 11am and 12noon, and places will be allocated based on the height combinations are comfortable jumping.
