They aim to provide a safe, supportive, secure and nurturing environment for ex-racehorses to be cared for after they have outlived their usefulness in the racing world. Through the program ‘Hands High at New Beginnings’ they hope to offer children and young adults with special needs the opportunity to have ground based contact with the horses. For Part Loan / Share Harvey,16.2hh thoroughbred, 13 years old. Harvey is a total gentleman. He’s very friendly and a pleasure to be around. Good to catch, load, shoe and clip. He has competed at affiliated eventing, show jumping and dressage. He’s currently competing at unaffiliated and affiliated dressage and combined training. He has been placed every time out this year. He is a very confident show jumper. I’ve never known him stop. He hacks out alone or in company. He can very occasionally be a bit lively or spooky so he’s not a novice ride.
